Manufacturing volume

MiniFAB has in-place a flexible manufacturing capacity that will be tailored to meet your requirements regardless of production volume. This is accessible for Alpha, Beta and final production requirements and at each of these stages we can assist with all regulatory aspects of medical devices and components.

Process Development

If you find that conventional manufacturers or manufacturing processes are unsuitable for producing your product then you will find that one of our key strengths is the ability to provide novel processing solutions. The challenges that we regularly address include the inclusion of micro-sized features, the combination of micro and macro features, combinations of process steps that are not available in any other single location, challenging assembly steps, stringent QC requirements and packaging of the final product.

Packaging

The packaging of finished products is often overlooked when transferring from prototyping to manufacturing and often involves several key decision makers from Marketing and Engineering departments to establish materials, designs and artwork. MiniFAB’s packaging engineering expertise can assist you to efficiently manage this process and ensure a seamless implementation of a packaging process into the manufacturing facility. Supply Chain Management

In order to provide a comprehensive manufacturing service MiniFab manages a comprehensive supply chain covering everything form advanced and often unique engineering materials, consumables and spare parts, equipment and components, custom services and shipping logistics. Our clients can benefit from this closely managed network to a level that is most appropriate to them – we can manage any or all aspects of the supply chain for your product or you can provide MiniFAB with everything that we need.

Our ISO 13485:2003 certification and GMP for manufacture of medical devices extends to all areas of our business to provide traceability and relevant levels of control of the processes that we conduct. Within the manufacturing environment our quality management system (QMS) is instrumental in ensuring that processes are executed to the highest standard and that manufacturing data (from QC results through to complaints handling) creates valuable feedback for continuous improvement of our services.
